Owners Jeanie and Richard David began operating their Bed and Breakfast seven years ago encouraged by family and friends to do so given their natural spirit of hospitality and genuine interest in sharing the beauty and peace found in South Louisiana.

Both Jeanie and Richard were born and raised in this area. With their children raised, they decided that they now have time available to host visitors who have come to enjoy the area they proudly call home.

The property that the cottages are on has been in Richard's family for about 130 years. It was purchased by his great grandfather, John Solari, the first Italian merchant to settle in Iberville Parish

Jeanie and Richard have run a successful catering business serving the Greater Baton Rouge area for the past 18 years. They are known for their personal attention to each customer’s needs, quality of product and service and genuine southern hospitality.

The David’s Bed and Breakfast guests enjoy the same experiences of great service and “country charm”.
